Our Services
At the Cabin in the County we create handmade pieces for the yard and the home. Each piece is made to order with wood that is hand selected at the Northern Mill and barrels that are hewn from premium French oak repurposed for your enjoyment.
Wine Tasting Charcuterie Table
Bespoke and beautiful but durable and lasting. French oak barrels and barn board create an inviting meeting place.
Garden Bench
The wood is selected and chosen at the Mill from green Hemlock so the patina changes gradually. Barns made from this wood are known to stand for 100 years in the County. The bench happily stays outside through the seasons.
Valentine Bookcase
Top grade Canadian White Pine is inspected and chosen piece by piece at the Northern Mill. This heirloom is made completely by hand with solid pine, including the back. The prototype for this piece became a well received Valentine's Day gift and will last for generations.

The Cabin in the County is the place where natural wood and craftsmanship come together to create pieces to maximize your enjoyment.
Our favorite Northern Mill follows best practices in Forest Management selecting and marking trees that will help the rest of the forest grow tall and straight for future generations. At the Mill we inspect and select each piece to make your heirloom outdoor and indoor furniture. We supplement with repurposed French oak barrels purchased from leading local wineries
